“My pain is more than a biochemical imbalance. I am more than chemicals in my brain. I laugh, I cry, I get hurt, I conquer, I learn, I LIVE.”

I have seen way too many people, patients and professionals, reducing the human experience to ‘chemicals in your brain’.
Is that what I am? My passions, my sense of right and wrong, my kindness: all ‘chemicals in my brain’?
Can we have a psychiatry focused on celebrating people for who they are?
Focused on movement and in living life?

OUR MISSION

Address mental health by embracing the complexity of human experience and favoring self knowledge, movement and quality of life

our founder

Meet Dr. Rodrigo Nardi

Our mentorship program.

Psychiatry is changing and more evidence is arising to show that our current practices are unsustainable.
If you are reading this, you must be experiencing the same degree of frustration with the field that many of my former mentees and I have experienced. The problems with the field include the excessive use of medications, the reductionistic and commercial view that our suffering is result of biochemical imbalances, the excessive use of addictive medications and the high number of patients who are misled to think they need those medications.
Our mentorship dives deeply into a new paradigm of treatment and suffering that takes advantage of your traits and talent as a human being to help you develop your “therapeutic self”. Ultimately, it results in significant improvement in work satisfaction and quality of life for you, while providing patients with more humanistic and psychologically driven care.
